Head impacts in sports involve rotational forces that damage the brain irreparably.

These injuries, resulting from sub-concussive impacts and concussions in sport, rotate the brain inside the skull. This shears brain cells, tears blood vessels and damages the blood-brain barrier, leading to abnormal, exaggerated brain inflammation. I did over think the price of them... but then was quickly told by my family you wouldn't think twice about spending that on a new pair of trainers so why over think it for your kids safety! My daughter has epilepsy and these are the best protective headbands she has worn. We tried several others and had some bad results. The Rezon headband doesn’t slide off or stretch out. I wish I’d found these before she fractured her skull during a seizure because a different brand of halo slipped off. And the customer service is amazing! They sent one to the United States and didn’t even charge me until we had confirmed the fit and satisfaction. They may be more expensive than some of the other concussion bands out there, but that’s because they’re worth it.

I can't recommend Razon enough, their customer service is amazing! Before I ordered they were very quick in responding to my questions by email. When my order arrived I realised I had ordered the wrong size for my son and they quickly sent me a larger size for him to try on and to compare to the size I ordered without any additional cost to me. When I sent the size we didn't want back, I also returned the head grip we didn't need and was refunded quickly. The headband itself is also a real success. My son has been wearing a rugby skull cap to play hockey for the last 2 seasons because of medical reasons and he feels safer and less self conscious in the Razon headband. Thank you very much.

Logan wore his halos for the first time the other day and didn't fidget or have to adjust it once. He said how comfortable it was, and how much difference it made to when he did get hit in the head! Logan has autism so finds some things hard to wear - his scrum cap for example as the strap rubbed/felt scratchy, (and we now know to no advanage) so this is great!

I bought a rezon headband for my daughter after she suffered a concussion playing hockey. Wearing the headband has been comfortable for my daughter, and has bought me more peace of mind as a parent. The customer service was excellent and I can recommend this product to anyone who is wanting more protection for children playing contact sports.

Rezon are the epitome of customer service. I had ordered a halo for my son who plays rugby, unfortunately I ordered the wrong size (tip: if you're sitting between sizes, size down) from start to finish their customer service was second to none. From discussing sizes, to explaining what the grip band does, to sending a new one out and allowing us to check the fit of both before returning the product... I cannot fault them, they have been absolutely amazing! Even sending me a personal thank you email regarding receiving additional payment (my son decided he wanted a coloured halo not black, plus I added a grip band on) and also another one to thank me for sending the unwanted one back. The halo? Well, he's confident in training and his coach is impressed with the full scientific background to these around concussions, it washes well, quality is fantastic and it will definitely be a key item in my son's kit bag on training and match days from now on. If you're undecided about getting one, don't be. Do it now, you won't regret it!

I bought them for my two sons who play a lot of football, rugby and cricket, trampoline in and out of school. They are 11 & 13yrs and I was seeking some form of protection for their brains in particular as we become more aware of the effect of CTE from multiple minor never mind major hits to the head. Upto this point they have worn scrum caps for rugby but find they get hot and I was aware of the limitations ( perhaps concerns) of wearing them. Rezon is a new concept and if it can reduce any brain rotational forces ( it claims 61%) to my childrens heads, then I am in. However my concern was would they wear them, would they stay on, would they be comfortable ?? YES, YES, YES!! They also look great and far from worrying if they would feel self conscious, they are so proud of wearing them and preaching about the benefits of them to their very prescious developing brains. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this product knowing I am reducing the impact to my boys brains & as such reducing the chances of them suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy ( CTE)

I've started wearing the Rezon Halos headband whilst playing football over the last couple of months and have already noticed the difference. It provides me with the assurance that my head has added protection from knocks, bumps, elbows, headers and everything in between whilst playing.
